A tricky race to call but Shopfitter, Bekoning and Master Malarkey are all short listed with the tentative vote going to the last named. Master Malarkey started slowly when fourth of twelve at Kempton last time out. That was over five furlongs so this extra furlong will suit and if able to stay on strongly like last time he ought to win. Shopfitter finished third behind Estiolle last time out. That was over course and distance and if he is able to recapture his best form he will go close. Bekoning won over six furlongs on his penultimate start but was outclassed last time in better company. He is down graded again here so any market moved should be noted. But for the winner we return to Master Malarkey.
