She Who Dares Wins, Haroldini and Fir Tree will fight this one out with the vote going to the last named. Fir Tree is fitted with cheek pieces for the first time and it might just work the oracle as he seems to run into place prize money without winning. He comes here fresh from a break and if able to capitalize on a good draw he will take some beating. Haroldini drops down in grade after being well beaten in a Redcar handicap last time out. He does need to improve but if recapturing he old sparkle he can run well. She Who Dares Wins did have some form earlier in the year but was beaten over sixteen lengths in a five furlong race last time so is one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Fir Tree.
