This is the feature race on the card and Tempsford could well land this before going on to more success on the turf, Mr Mischief and Cruise Director may be the ones to chase him home. Sir Mark Prescott's colt was in tremendous form last year winning five times, including a victory on the all-weather at Wolverhampton. He has subsequently shot up the weights but this son of Bering never does more than what is required so could be capable of further improvement. Mr Mischief returned to winning ways when beating Glory Quest at Wolverhampton earlier this month and still doesn't look too badly treated. Cruise Director is making his Southwell debut but ran well at Wolverhampton last time when third to the well treated Border Tale, if he handles the different surface another bold showing is expected. The best of the rest could be Kylkenny who hails from a top stable and is well treated on his best form, however we think the best is yet to come from Tempsford and he is our confident choice.
