Some in form rivals contest this decent handicap and it may concern the recent winners Book Matched, Rare Coincidence and Jomus, with the former getting the nod. Bryan Smart's gelding was successful at Wolverhampton at the end of last month beating Hawkit in good style. The runner up went in at the same track on Saturday so the form does look rock solid. Rare Coincidence is chasing a hat-trick following victories here and at Wolverhampton. On both occasions he won with a bit in hand so the handicapper may not quite have his measure. Jomus takes a step up in class after beating Alexander Ambition an a class E handicap earlier this month, however he does appear to be progressing and could very well fight out the finish. Of the others Senor Bond is a stablemate of the selection so is worth a look in the betting, as is Masafi who could be another Mark Prescott special. Once again then a very tricky event with Book Matched just taken to oblige.
