      Verdict

      Dual bumper winner TRICKSOFTHETRADE got off the mark on the Flat when scoring over C&D last time. Alan Swinbank's charge is lightly-raced despite his age and looks capable of following up given further improvement is likely. Bow River Arch went very close here in January and has claims if forgiven a below par effort on the Polytrack last time, while Stand Guard was a decent handicapper in his heyday but last year's four victories all came in plating company. Switched Off has won a bumper on the turf track here and can figure if handling the Fibresand ahead of Zamina and Dazzling Valentine.
