MAN OF ACTION had looked progressive last year and was very unlucky in the Cambridgeshire. He started odds-on for his first run here last month but never got involved and gets the vote as he can surely do much better. Yaa Wayl's last dozen starts have been over 7f and he's very useful at that trip but the last time he raced over a mile he scored at Chester so this tight track should suit. Frankie Dettori has chosen Red Gulch who should now be at his peak after two recent runs but it's difficult to know what to make of the Godolphin import Scarf, seven times a winner in Australia including in Listed company. The handicapper appears to have hold of Canwinn after his two early season victories though he was poorly drawn last time while Primaeval would have an obvious chance if getting a run from his reserve spot.
