In depth

Verdict

Twice a winner on Polytrack, Gritstone makes his Fibresand debut today, while Son Vida won his maiden over C&D before a modest effort at Wolverhampton on his handicap bow. Dubaianswer just got the better of The Lock Master at this track last time though the latter is weighted to reverse running with a 7lb claimer on board, while On The Cusp, Pipers Piping and Community are all C&D winners stepping up in class. CALL TO REASON moves in the opposite direction having finished a creditable third to the progressive William Haigh over track and trip last time and she's fancied to get her head in front against lesser opposition today.
