An open looking apprentice handicap where we have narrowed it down to Nimello, Kalatime, Comeintothespace and Padre Nostro and Kalatime is taken to score. The filly has been knocking on the door in lowly company but is arguably better over this longer trip and a look at how she ran last time, when she appeared to need further, bears that out. This is certainly not a hot contest and Milton Harris's filly is given the tentative nod. Nimello is a likeable old stager who was much better than this in the past but this is now his level. Despite his advancing years he is still a chance here based on a couple of recent runs bue we suspect he will again find something too good. Comeintothespace will be popular by virtue of his Lingfield win last time but a 6lb penalty here will make this much tougher, while Padre Nostro was a beaten favourite last time will probably have his stamina stretched too far on this occasion and preference is for Kalatime
