Verdict

L'Art du Silence, Secret Meaning and Don Picolo make most appeal in this seller and the vote is given to L'Art du Silence. The selection is a lightly-raced colt and although he was well beaten last time, he is dropped in grade today and with this step-up in trip today likely to suit he should take all the beating. Secret Meaning would have claims on the pick of her form and she is also eased in grade after being well beaten in a handicap at Lingfield last time. Don Picolo has run well here in the past but he was well beaten in a handicap at Kempton last time when he was a beaten favourite, so he will obviously need to bounce back from that effort if he is to get his head in front. Littonfountain looks to have a bit to find after three moderate runs in claiming company, and we will stick with L'Art du Silence as the tentative choice.
