In depth

Verdict

Yes One overcame an absence from the track since October when running out the convincing winner of a handicap at Wolverhampton on his return last month and Kevin Ryan's colt is taken to follow up on his Fibresand debut, getting the verdict ahead of Ansells Pride and Steig. The last mentioned has shown a consistent level of form in recent starts on the Polytrack and has to be respected on his debut on this surface. Rock Anthem needs to improve on the form of his two runs this year, while neither King of The Moors nor Jord make much appeal, although the latter has at least got winning form on the Fibresand. Bryan Smart's Ansells Pride is less exposed than his rivals and has solid claims if fit for his reappearance but preference is for Yes One.
