Course specialist INGLEBY ARCH is taken to uphold last week's form with Xpres Maite despite being set to carry a 6lb penalty. Wotashirtfull and Haajes both arrive here on the back of solid efforts and are others that can make sure this is a fast and furious affair. Haajes swooped very late to conquer at Wolverhampton on Saturday and it has to be of interest he is turned out so quickly. However, he faces a tougher test at the weights and, as he has disappointed on this surface in the past, he has something to prove today. Wotashirtfull is a consistent type and is in good heart at the moment. Still, he also looks weighted to the hilt and may need to drop a few pounds before he can start paying his way for his new yard. Xpres Maite won his penultimate start in good style and has a good record on the all-weather. Still he is another that appears to be in the assessors sights and needs post a career best effort if he is going to prevail. Therefore, Ingleby Arch looks a safer option. Having won of a mark as high as 97, David Barron's gelding still has room to manoeuvre from his current standing. And, as this is his favourite course, Ingleby Arch is fancied to take advantage of the opportunity presented to him this afternoon.
Haajes 14-1 (8-11) Always prominent, not clear run and switched right just over 1f out, ran on under pressure to lead post, won at W'hampton 5f hcp 0-75 (3) pol beating Canadian Danehill (8-4) by a shd, 7 ran.
