As a former winner of a German Group 2, AVISO is expected to appreciate this ease in grade and is selected as the one to be on. Veiled Applause is a versatile performer and will be a threat if he handles the surface. He has gone well when fresh in the past, so is worth keeping tabs on in the betting market. Torch Of Freedom is another to keep on the right side, as his shrewd connections can never be discounted and this fellow looks a typically well-bred type that can be campaigned to good effect from now on. However, Aviso makes the most appeal at the likely odds, as he is surely better than his last two outings would have you believe. The Southwell fibresand should hold no fears for the gelding and this looks to be a good bit of placement to give the gelding a confidence booster.
