    Verdict

Gardasee has to be respected but this looks a virtual match between Possol and Oslot, with preference for the latter. The selection was useful over hurdles last term and has taken well to fences, winning his two starts this season at Exeter and Kempton in decent fashion and the Paul Nicholls-trained gelding is taken to make it three on the bounce over the larger obstacles. Naseby Covert and Supreme Leisure make no appeal at all and of more interest may be Gardasee, who has shown a reasonable level of form but does need to improve to trouble the judge. Henry Daly's Possol has shown decent form without winning since joining current connections and has to be respected after an improved effort when third in the Jewson at the Cheltenham festival but Oslot has the best form on offer and he is preferred.
