BLUE TOMATO is our selection in this claimer with Excusez Moi and Don Pele the others of note. Dandy Nicholls' charge was far from disgraced on his comeback at Wolverhampton last week and while it's difficult to suggest that he'll be winning handicaps off this mark in the future, there is enough there to suggest that he'll win his share of plating contests. Excusez Moi is the highest rated of these on BHA figures. He ran a solid race behind Mutamared last time out but whether this drop in trip is ideal is another matter entirely. Don Pele landed a weaker six furlong event at the course in January. Blinkers replace the cheekpieces that were worn on that occasion. Back In The Red bids for a hat-trick though needs to find plenty on the book to land it. Grimes Faith, who has finished behind him on their last two meetings, reopposes. His recent success over course-and-distance might just have boosted his confidence. Blue Tomato looks best in a race which might not reflect the official figures beforehand.
