In the two-miler the vote goes to Radiant Bride ahead of Vanbrugh and Lampos. The selection comes here in good heart, having won two of her last three races and, having won over course and distance, should run a big race in a fairly modest affair. Given that he won over course and distance from a mark of 65 in January, Vanbrugh has also to be considered and, to be fair, he has enough in the way of recent form to be considered. Lampos is another that goes well here and is likely to be in the frame, while much as Argamia ran reasonably well last time, that was her first run since June 2003 and, unless the market suggests otherwise, it might pay to look elsewhere. Trickstep showed some improvement last time here over a shorter trip and could improve again, while Nocatee has won from a seven-pound higher mark on Turf and could well have a bit more to come on the all-weather. Overall, though, the vote stays with Radiant Bride
