This is not an easy race on which to hold a strong view, but from a shortlist of Bella Pavlina, Efrhina, Miss Eloise, Another Con and, maybe Vivre Sa Vie, we will side with Bella Pavlina. At first glance the selection might seem an odd one as she finished five lengths behind Efrhina last time and is only one pound better off at today's weights. However, that was a falsely-run affair and the selection certainly seems to come good at this time of year. Also, she is four pounds above a winning mark but her good rider claims five, Much as she certainly seemed to show a bit of improvement last time, Efrhina remains a maiden, although it would not be the first time that a filly has made a fool of pre-race logic. Vivra Sa Vie has to get a mention being from the Sir Mark Prescott camp, although she needs to step up on what she has so far shown, but Miss Eloise could be interesting on her all-weather debut, given that she has won on Turf from today's rating. Another Con is another who could feature based on his Wiolverhampton form, although she is unraced at this track. Of the others, Rock Concert has never won beyond 9 furlongs even though there is plenty of stamina on the dam's side of her pedigree, while Lake Diva won twice at Wolverhampton in November but has been beaten in handicaps on her last two outings. With the bottom two racing from out of the weights, we spin back to the selection, which is Bella Pavlina.
