In depth

Verdict

Despite his record in claimers, Sharp Hat, has been running a little below himself of late and he may be worth opposing again over this trip. So a chance is taken with Jalouhar, who is marginally preferred over Queen Of Night and Travelling Times - although Paul Blockley has an enviable strike-rate in sellers and claimers on the all weather so Hurricane Coast is one to monitor if he is turned out quickly after his efforts here yesterday. However, he may be better over slightly further and will struggle to reel in Jalouhar if he repeats the effort he put in over course and distance that saw him lose his maiden tag two outings ago. The handicapper has given the son of Victory Note a good chance to prove himself off a mark of 59 and he is fancied to exploit the opportunity to add to his tally today.
