In depth

Verdict

Penwell Hill comes into this at the top of his form and although 10lbs higher than when successful here last month, he is the choice to continue his upward curve. Forty Forte bounced back to form last time, but he is a habitual front-runner, who is unlikely to get his own way in front with Penwell Hill in opposition. Lady Pahia has been running well on the Polytrack and if she can adapt to this surface must go well, while Friday's Takings may not have achieved that much when wearing down Pawn In Life last time and has more to do here off a 5lbs higher mark. Pancakehill may have been flattered by her effort last time, as the winner was set an awful lot to do, but having said that, she at least comes into this in decent form.
