A low grade starter on the turf and Wednesdays Boy could be the answer to this conundrum with Desert Hawk, Hi Dancer and Sparky Vixen all holding chances. Peter Niven's horses have been running well of late and if there is any overnight rain, this could play to Wednesdays Boy's strengths. There was a little money around for him ahead of his Beverley reappearance and if coming on for the run, he should be a factor. Desert Hawk is a regular on the artifical surfaces. He was won twice on the turf so cannot be discounted here. Hi Dancer is better known as a listed hurdler. The stable is respected although the horse has struggled off similar marks in the past. He is probably better than stable companion, Fire In Cairo. Miss Percy steps up in trip. King Of Connacht has less blobs on his card than most. Cumae won a seller at Bath on good to firm going. Josephine Bruning replaces Seb Sanders in the plate. Bahhmirage has a good apprentice booked and is a player if staying this far on the turf. Not a race to be taking too long over and Wednesdays Boy is the pick.
