Just The Lady, Cheap Thrills and Rebecca de Winterare the trio for the shortlist in a competitive opener and the vote is given to Just The Lady. The selection progressed from her first run to her second when she chased home Polish Pride at Musselburgh last time out. This is her first try on the all-weather but she certainly sets the standard of those with racecourse experience and she should go close. Cheap Frills is a well-bred newcomer from the Jamie Osborne yard and she is certainly of interest, but the yard are hardly firing on all cylinders at present so she is probably best watched. Rebecca de Winterare is therefore of more interest on her racecourse bow, as she catches the eye on breeding and yard have a 23 per cent strike-rate with their 2-year-olds this season. Moss Likely showed promise on her debut and she is another to consider, but for the winner we are happy to stick with Just The Lady.
