Although Skylancer is interesting on a return from a break we'll take our chance with the sharper DAIS RETURN in this maiden while Posh Bird could fly into the fray. The selection already carries a useful looking rating of 117 and he ran to market expectations on a sound surface in a similar race last time out. He may have been closer to dumping the maiden's tag that day had he not blundered late when in contention and his form lines set the standard. Skylancer returns for his first run since December and although his form from his penultimate start has him closely matched with the selection it's not clear if he'll get this step up in trip. Posh Bird had every chance of winning when falling at the last over course and distance and in similar conditions on her last run so she should go well again assuming she is no worse for wear while Always Bold should be respected dropping back into this company on ground which should suit. Doc Well has some decent bumper form for him to enter calculations but he has it all to do ion his hurdles bow to beat Dais Return.
