        Verdict

        VEGAS BABY can land this claimer at the main expense of Cool Art and Creshendo. The selection ran well for a long way here last time out in a competitive handicap won by Smokey Rye over 6f. This step-up in trip should suit and now that she is dropped into this grade she really should be good enough to get her head in front. Cool Art is another that is eased in grade after being well beaten in a handicap at Kempton. He has got winning form over this course and distance and he has a decent strike-rate so he has to enter calculations. Creshendo was a little disappointing last time but he is a lightly-raced type and he was returning from a long break so there may be more to come. Via Mia won a maiden in good style last season but she has not really built on that, and we will stick with Vegas Baby to land the prize.
