First Cry was good value for his win here over further last time but should not be inconvenienced by the return to this trip and the Nicky Richards-trained gelding is taken to follow up at the main expense of Primus Inter Pares and El Chaparral. The last mentioned ran promisingly on his hurdles debut at Cartmel last month and is entitled to improve for the run so has to be respected. Tell Henry was behind the selection here last time and cannot be discounted on the revised terms, while Little Jimbob could be of interest on his hurdling debut, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. Primus Inter Pares should be able to win a small race at some point and rates a big danger but First Cry has an obvious chance and he gets the vote.
