In depth

Verdict

Mutual Respect is the selection with Sherevar and Terenzium the dangers. Mutual Respect was expected to take rank among the top novice hurdlers during his time with Paul Nicholls but things evidently went wrong and he is now with Evan Williams after an absence. It remains to be seen if he can reproduce the ability he showed in bumpers so the market is watched before the hand is put in the pocket. Sherevar has Tony McCoy booked. He has had problems in the past that kept him off the course but did oblige under this partner at Hexham in June. Terenzium is 0 from 12 over hurdles and is perhaps flattered by his BHA figure. He can secure a frame slot today. Spirit Of Ecstasy has potential if able to settle early. Exit Strategy was quietly supported at Hexham. It is questionble as as to whether the ground suits. A weak maiden in terms of overall depth and Mutual Respect is selected albeit with knowledge of a sizeable absence and a stable switch.
