A number of the usual bunch of rogues, suspect characters and dodgepots on view and Monsieur is put forward with minimal confidence with Little Task and Supreme Being the ones most likely to trouble the judge. Monsieur was once held in high regard by Pat Haslam but the drop into selling grade perhaps says it all. Well beaten when odds on for a non-seller at Hexham, this represents a real leap of faith as to whether the handler can get him back to anything like his pomp. Lord On The Run also represents the handler and he too, despite a rating in three figures, has to bounce back from a hiding. Little Task is exposed at plating grades. On the figures, he shouldn't be good enough but he has made a habit of finishing close up at juicy prices. Supreme Being is eleven years young. He was made plenty of use when obliging in a Newton Abbot seller and a similar scenario is likely today. Deramore Rhythm makes a debut for new connections. Nelsons Column is one to note in the market as he is likely to be better than his previous hurdling starts suggest. Zibeline is alas a light of former years and it is to be hoped that he comes home safe. Legend Again was well backed on his introduction to handicap hurdling but was tailed off soon after they started. The remainder have little to recommend. A bad race that can be taken by MONSIEUR.
