Not the easiest of contests to read and certainly one where you don't want to wade in, and we will take Moorlaw to prevail, with Beaver, Sort It Out and We'll Meet Again others to consider. The selection needs to show us more than when well beaten at Worcester last time, but prior to that he'd shown more like his true ability at Bangor, and if he handles this faster ground this time then he is worth chancing in an open contest. We're not too sure where the official ratings for some of these have been dreamed up, but Sort It Out is another 110 rated individual, and he did pretty well last time at Huntingdon to say he dropped back in trip from three mile points to a two mile hurdle. The ground is in his favour and another decent effort is expected. Beaver is Richard Guest's runner in the contest, and he could provide the biggest danger to the selection, having shown promise on his Southwell debut. With his yard still going well, he should be thereabouts. Of the remainder, We'll Meet Again has a bit to find on the book, but has been running better of late, and an eye on the market is advised bearing in mind his connections. Very open then, and we take a chance on Moorlaw.
