An ordinary handicap where Fu Fighter should be good enough to see off Miss Jessica, Lutin Du Moulin and Pavey Ark. The selection came back from a four month break and showed decent form in the context of this race, when runner-up at Exeter last time. He seemed to prefer the fast ground to the cut on which he'd previously been tried, and with some improvement anticipated over further, he can go one better here. Miss Jessica has been raised 4lb for a two length defeat of Noble House over course and distance last time, and that runner may have franked the form in the previous race. But the mare did look as though there was little more to come after that all out success and she may have to give best with the extra weight here. Lutin Du Moulin is dropped in class, and even though that can help him make the frame, he still looks too far out of form to make a major impression, while Pavey Ark was a fast ground maiden chase winner here last year and after a recent pipe opener could be booked for a good run, and is perhaps capable of giving the selection most to do. But for that selection we will side with Fu Fighter.
