There is not a lot for backers to go on here and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Campli, who is preferred to Curragh View and Casewick Mist. The last mentioned made a winning start to his career when landing a bumper at Market Rasen in April before unseating her rider when stumbling at Worcester subsequently. Malcolm Jefferson's mare has to be respected but she may struggle under her penalty. Irish raider Nasrawy makes plenty of appeal on pedigree on his debut for shrewd connections and the son of Grand Lodge has to be respected, particularly if the market speaks in his favour. Mick Easterby's Quorn Master is another that may be worth watching in the market, while Ingleborough Lad is bred to want a softer surface and is probably best left out of calculations on this going. Winning pointer Curragh View could be of interest on his rules debut but Campli has shown promise on both starts so far and Micky Hammond's gelding is taken to gain a deserved first success here.
