Crosby Dancer and From Little Acorns are closely matched on their running here last month but the latter was having only his second run back following a lengthy absence that day and there may be more to come from Ferdy Murphy's gelding so he is preferred with Samson des Galas rated the best of the remainder. This is not a race to be going overboard about but the selection could be different class to these and is clearly well treated on the pick of his form, on a surface that suits ideally. North Landing may struggle to concede weight away all round, while Ball Games is another that has plenty of weight for what he has achieved. Fleetfoot Mac is strictly held by the selection on running here last time, while Maraud ran no sort of race in that same contest and is hard to recommend. More solid claims are held by Samson des Galas, who showed improved form last time but From Little Acorns looks to be going the right way and would not need to improve much to trouble the judge.
