    Verdict

Britesand, Majestic Class and Jealous Mead are the three to concentrate on here and the nomination is given to Britesand. The selection made a pleasing debut in a bumper at Warwick when fifth behind Round The Horn. He was doing his best work at the finish that day so this extra furlong will play to his strengths, and he looks to have been found an ideal opportunity to get his head in front. Majestic Class made a pleasing debut at Hexham before running a touch disappointingly at Wetherby last time. He has clearly got ability and he hails from a shrewd yard so he is not one to dismiss lightly. Jealous Mead could be the best of the newcomers and this 4-year-old from the Howard Johnson yard is worth noting in the market. The market often provides clues in races of this nature, so if there is strong support for any of the newcomers then it could pay to take the hint. But Britesand sets a fair standard for the rest here and is taken to score.
