This is a very weak event to start proceedings and on of the obvious candidates on form is Hamburg Springer, but Norma Macauley runs two here La Cygne Blanche and Dancing Moonlight and we will side with the former. La Cygne Blanche put in her best performance to date over the seven furlong trip here last time, finishing a close up fifth behind Houdini Bay. Hamburg Springer went off favourite for that event and finished three-quarters of a length in front of the selection, however La Cygne Blanche is four pounds better off today and should reverse the form. Dancing Moonlight needs to improve to take a hand in the finish here, but does receive plenty of weight from the principals and could go well at a decent price. Justenjoy Yourself and Blissphilly could prove best of the remainder, but in a poor event La Cygne Blanche just gets the vote.
