Daylami Star is entitled to come on for his recent reappearance run at Chester but, along with Mark Johnston's Soho Square who has solid claims on recent form, the testing ground is of concern and preference is for Souffleur. Michael Bell's colt not surprisingly seemed to relish the testing conditions when winning his maiden at Nottingham last time and he would appear to be fairly treated on a mark of 72 for his debut in this grade. Henry Cecil's Power of Future made a winning return at Hamilton but is far from certain to appreciate the ground, while Som Tala looks to have plenty of weight for what he has achieved. Gee Dee Nen should do better now that he encounters more testing ground for the first time this season and makes more appeal than either Smart Gal or At The Money but it is Souffleur that gets the vote with Jamie Spencer back in the plate.
