The finale looks to be a really tricky affair but Mad Carew, Voice Mail, Sir Haydn and Tricky Venture look the four to focus on with the vote given to Mad Carew. The selection has shown most of his best form on the all-weather but he showed he is equally effective on turf when beating Anuvasteel at Windsor last time. That was quite a cosy win and he looks capable of going in again. Voice Mail is on a handy mark at present and he was hampered at Goodwood before running well last time at Haydock when third behind Strong Hand. He is sure to run his race again and it would be no surprise to see him make the frame. Sir Haydn has been in good form but his latest run left the impression that the handicapper may now have his measure. Tricky Venture put in a solid effort at Folkestone last time and is another with place prospects, but for the winner we return to Mad Carew.
