In depth

Verdict

The lightly raced Zargus, a half-brother to former Queen Mary winner, Romantic Myth, is open to any amount of improvement, but has been done no favours by the draw. Master Robbie will find this easier than the Listed event he tackled last time and is sure to make his presence felt, but the vote goes to Izmail. He has plenty of pace and should be able to get across from his low draw. Although he was well beaten at Leicester last time, he would certainly have finished closer had he not been eased and this stiff five furlongs, on fast ground should prove ideal.
