    Verdict

Both Right Approach and Hathaal hold entries in the Vodafone Derby, with the former attracting some money earlier this week. Hathaal, a half-brother to Irish Oaks heroine Petrushka, looks likely to make into a better three-year-old, and will have no trouble with the trip. Kaieteur won a minor event in good style at Kempton, but will find this a stiffer test. Simeon is better than he has shown so far, but whether he is up to this grade remains to be seen, which leaves the Queen's Right Approach. Bred to do better as a three-year-old, the son of Machiavellian will need to win this convincingly if he is to remain on target for the Derby.
