Gift Horse created a favourable impression when second on his debut at Warwick and is fancied to go one better at the main expense of Tarafah and the Gosden pair Kituhwa and Shredded. The last mentioned was a creditable third in a soft ground maiden at Yarmouth on his debut and should do better on today's faster ground, while stablemate Kituhwa has shown signs of ability in two starts so far but needs to improve. Tarafah makes a belated reappearance but has claims if fit enough, while John Dunlop's Haydock sixth Photofit is another to consider with the stable now back in form. With the remainder, including all the newcomers, making limited appeal, Gift Horse looks the one to be on. James Fanshawe's gelding lost virtually all chance with a slow start at Warwick but made significant headway to be beaten just three-quarters of a length on his Warwick debut at the beginning of the month and is the vote to go one better.
