John Gosden's record in the race suggests that COMMISSIONAIRE could be hard to keep out of the frame and we'll take him to get the better of Sowalym and Below Zero. The selection's handler deserves a change of luck in this race having saddled the second home in each of the last three seasons and this son of Medicean could be the one to bring him his third success in the race in eight years. He accounted for a well regarded colt at Yarmouth on his sole start at two despite being weak in the market and looks to have a big future. Sowalym won well enough at Lingfield despite showing signs of inexperience but the bare form wouldn't be the strongest and he doesn't hold entries for any of the top races and nor does Below Zero who won a modest maiden with plenty to spare. No Hubris was impressive at York on debut when landing a touch and was far from disgraced in the Coventry behind the awesome Canford Cliffs and should go well although there are mixed messages with regard to this trip from his pedigree. He should go well but we fancy Commissionaire to gain the upper hand.
