Quiff looks a stand-out bet here, with Hazyview, Osorio and Tolpuddle all playing for the places. Sir Michael Stoute's four-year-old should be one to follow this season, as she bids to add to a profitable campaign last year that saw her capture the Yorkshire Oaks on only her fourth career outing. She was beaten by the slow early pace as much as anything when beaten a head by Rule Of Law in the St Leger, and on breeding, this drop back in trip will not be a problem. She has to shoulder a Group 1 penalty but has been striding out well at home and it will be a major surprise if she gets turned over by any of this lot. Hazyview was fifth to Norse Dancer in Group 3 company at Newmarket but will struggle to hold the selection, while Osorio was having his first run in two years and his first for Mark Johnson when down the field in the John Porter at Newbury. The ex-Italian runner will improve and should land a decent race for new connections in time. The Irish have won virtually everything that they have contested when coming over during the past few weeks, but Tolpuddle does not appeal on form, and this really should be a steering job for Mick Kinane on Quiff.
