Native Khan looked the real deal when winning a traditionally strong maiden at Newmarket and the form looks strong enough despite the race not having thrown up that many subsequent winners as yet. His connections are certainly excited by him and he has all the requisite entries but favourites have a modest record in this race and it may be worth taking a chance with the more experienced STENTORIAN who represents a yard that has won two of the last four renewals. He may already need a mile but this stiff seven should help and he won't need to improve significantly on his second in the Veuve Clicquot Vintage Stakes at Goodwood to go close. A low draw is no help and Roayh must be feared as he steps up from six furlongs for the first time, Titus Mills is also respected following a debut win at Ascot whilst Measuring Time's Newbury win was given a boost when the fourth and last home won a Listed race at Deauville next time.
