In depth

Verdict

Flora Trevelyan was well-backed when last seen however this really should be straight-forward for the 107-rated SUPER SLEUTH. The selection probably found the ground against here when last seen in the Irish 1000 Guineas. Back on a sound surface and in what looks a poor maiden, it would be a huge surprise were she not to win. A performance within two stone of her third to Ghanaati in May would be enough. Parallel looks one of the more likely contenders; a Refuse To Bend filly, she is related to several winners albeit over shorter trips. Intimar's Spanish form looks nothing special, whilst Chicora and Ela Gorrie Mou both look modest at best, as their ratings would suggest. The horse for the forecast then is Flora Trevelyan who filled second spot at Kempton in April when last seen. It might be a worry for backers that we have not seen her since but she has shown definite ability and this half-sister to Leporello should run well. Straightforward for Super Sleuth to break her maiden tag.
