An inherently moderate handicap that can go to MAKE AMENDS though Western Roots and Wotasparkler have chances on the book. Ron Hodges appears to have his string in decent nick and while his filly is perhaps a little better over further, there is a strong likelihood of a fast pace and she may be able to pick up the front runners close home. Western Roots is one of the plausible front runners. That said, when he couldn't lead last time, the metaphorical dummy was spat out. Wotasparkler has a smart jockey booking with leading point to point jockey, Gina Andrews aboard. The market is noted accordingly. Rock Anthem had dropped significantly in the weights before landing a Lingfield event. The handicapper has had plenty of chance to assess him previously. Cape Cobra returns belatedly after a sizeable time off the track. Solent Ridge has been out of form though has shown his better efforts when tried in cheekpieces in the past. Artreju is arguably best of the rest. Not a race to go overboard about and Make Amends appears the most likely winner.
