Yet another competitive race with the short list containing Rare Breed, Curtail and Guto but we will side with Rare Breed. Curtail rounded off last season with a third in a Group 3 race, so he begins this year as interesting. Guto holds Green Park and Angus Newz on recent Haydock form, admittedly on heavy going, and he looks progressive so gets a good mention, while Rare Breed really left an impression when winning at Redcar on his return and he rates as a very interesting prospect. Clare Hills has yet to build on her Hilary Needler win, but Dixie Belle would hold claims if getting back to her high-class juvenile form. Given that he left such an impression on his return, we will take a chance on Rare Breed, who gets the vote.
