Pamak D'airy may not have beaten a great deal when making a winning debut for Nicky Henderson over course and distance two weeks ago but has rather harshly gone up 7lbs for that success and that may prevent him from following up so preference is for Tavalu, who gets the vote over Inchloch. The last mentioned was still there with every chance before falling two out in the race at Doncaster won by Mous Of Men last month and Brendan Powell's gelding has every chance if none the worse for that tumble. Henrietta Knight's Soixante is less exposed than most of these and ran an encouraging race on his handicap debut at Fontwell recently so has to be respected, while Exmoor Ranger looks a shade high in the weights for what he has achieved. Gary Moore's Ouragan Lagrange disappointed last time so may be best watched at present and a safer option looks to be stable companion Tavalu, who ran better at Fontwell a fortnight ago and now looks well enough treated to win in this grade.
