VICTORIA MONTOYA can land the finale at the main expense of Cape Colony and Colonel Flay. The selection won well last month when beating Record Breaker at Newmarket. His form last season was solid and he does boast course and distance winning form. Andrew Balding has been amongst the winners in the last few days and our selection can add to that tally. Cape Colony is quickly turned out after beating King Fingal at Doncaster last week. He was returning from a break that day and if he doesn't bounce here he should go close. Colonel Flay has won two of his last three starts and today's ground conditions should be ideal for him. He is clearly on the upgrade and he looks a leading player. Bell Island is better than he has been showing of late and he is relatively unexposed so he could go well at a price. However, for the winner we will stick with Victoria Montoya.
