Line Drawing might possibly provide the answer here, but Dalisay, Zurna, Into The Dark and Rawdon have also to be considered. The selection made a very encouraging debut when second over today's trip at Chester behind Iktitaf, although the winner has been beaten in a handicap from a mark of 87 since. Zurna is steadily improving, will not lack for experience and suggested last time that today's trip was going to suit, while Mijdaaf is one to keep an eye on now that his stable has found some form. That said, his handler also fields Bold Phoenix and Meissen, although they have not shown too much to date. It's a bit concerning that the Godolphin runner, Into The Dark, is visored on his racecourse debut and, being by Rainbow Quest out of a speedy mare, it will interesting to see what his best trip proves to be. Rawdon is also visored today and, much as he was disappointing on his Newmarket debut, better was expected and it is interesting that John Gosden has elected to run him here when he could have found a number of easier options. Sir Michael Stoute runs the expensively purchased and well-bred filly Dalisay. She was well beaten on her debut in a backend Newmarket maiden, one that has already produced a Classic winner in Ouija Board. She should improve at today's trip and for that run, and it would be no surprise to see her go well. The betting market will probably prove very informative for this race but, without the benefit of that knowledge, we will suggest Line Drawing.
