We will take a chance here on Moayed, with Digital and Borrego among others to hold chances in a a fairly tight handicap. The selection got some reward for his consistency when scoring at Newmarket two runs ago from a mark of 80. Much as he's now rated 86, his rider takes a useful three pounds off his back and he is sure to appreciate today's stiff seven furlongs having made eyecatching late headway in a valuable five-furlong sprint at Musselburgh last time. Digital comes firmly into the reckoning given that he is now running off a mark of 85 having won from 90 at Goodwood last summer, Given also that his rider also takes off a useful three pounds, his chance is there for all to see. Borrego has won two of his last four races, finishing runner-up in the other two. Much as he has been raised four pounds for his most-recent effort, he was not well-drawn that day and it was his seasonal return. Given these points, he too is entitled to respect. Ephesus is two-pounds higher than for his Goodwood success two runs ago and might just find it hard to score today. King Carnival, who was decent as a juvenile, looked to be coming to hand last time, and the form of Flying Express's second to Uhoomagoo at Doncaster two runs ago has since been franked. Binanti is the sole course and distance winner in the race and is now just a pound-higher than for that success. He has only run three times since and will have needed his seasonal return. Waterside runs quickly and under a penalty after scoring at Folkestone and is still well-weighted based on his all-weather form. He is from a canny yard so do not rule out a bold show. Overall, though, we are happy to side with Moayed.
