GINGER JACK is the nominal suggestion here, preferred to Fontley and Mr Irons. Mark Johnston's gelding ran well in defeat at Doncaster the other day when third to stablemate Sea Lord. His mark of 85 is the result of a strong Lingfield win in February but his trainer excels at keeping his three-year-old's on the upgrade and this chap can defy top-weight. Fontley beat First Cat here last time out at 50/1 and is respected, however a 4lb pull in the weights means that there shouldn't be much between the pair today. Innocuous beat the reliable yardstick George Benjamin at Southwell and he has a nice profile coming into this race on a mark of 80, Mr Irons has contested two good races this year and is not discounted with the drop in trip in his favour, whilst Wasmi is yet to prove her effectiveness away from the all-weather. The return to a mile will suit Master Of Dance, however Ginger Jack looks ready to win again and is nominated accordingly.
