Some decent performers will line up in this mile event and, in it, we reckon Take A Bow can get the better of Free Trip. The selection has looked progressive this season and, prior to running a very good second to Audience at York, beat Free Trip by three lengths over seven furlongs here on August 11. Much as he is now seven-pounds worse off at the weights with the Britannia Stakes fifth, his turn of foot might see him come out again, although the latter will appreciate the step up to a mile today. Turning to the others and Streams Of Gold would not appear to have an obvious chance based on his Pontefract maiden win, and Master Marvel, much as he won well at Newmarket in April, was well behind Free Trip in the Britannia. Royal Prince won twice in June but has more to do here, while much as Sew'N'So Character was a fair fourth at Beverley last time, he has just one career win to his name. Finally, Barathea Dreams won over course and distance in April but has failed to build on that effort, although he has been fairly highly-tried. In summary, then, once again for us the vote goes to Take A Bow.
