      Verdict

There was some cut in the ground when Carol went close at Nottingham but it was good going when Titi Makfi scored at Hamilton a week ago. The latter is penalised for that success but Peloton can race off the same mark as when runner-up over a mile at Windsor last time. Gallifrey was a long way in front of Starlight Circus when landing a maiden at Kempton in December and Ixelles Diamond has been running well on the all-weather so far this year. But VIGEE LE BRUN is back on soft ground for the first time since placing at Newbury on last year’s debut and she gets a speculative vote to come good on only her second start in a handicap.
