In depth

Verdict

SPLASH AROUND has a good chance on last month’s second over 1m3f at Newbury behind the progressive Mount Moriah. The fact it was soft ground on that occasion only strengthens his claims and Sir Michael Stoute’s colt gets the nod. Jukebox Jive drops in class after a decent effort at Chester but was tailed off in soft going at Redcar last year while Utopian Dream easily won a maiden at Chelmsford last month but has yet to race on Turf. Padrinho went close over today’s trip at Wetherby recently but is an unknown in testing ground and the latter comment also applies to Percy's Word and See Of Rome.
